These machined stainless steel turnbuckles, open body, combine the best of both worlds:
- AISI316 stainless steel part
- bronze quality for easy screwing/unscrewing on a stainless steel accessory.
Bronze inserts are both glued and set in the machined stainless steel body, which guarantees maximum resistance under stress.
Wide recesses to position a flat key when adjusting the tension of the stays.
Designed to accommodate our Velcro pins and also classic cotter pins.
SAILING SPECIAL:
Because, the opening in the body allows rinsing/ cleaning (with clear water) after intense navigation, and greasing when necessary.
